Together Apart is a response, from the territory of art, to the emergency that is being experienced in the border territory between Colombia and Venezuela, near Cucuta and San Antonio del Tachira, historically the most dynamic border in Latin America, in times of global migratory crisis. This is the first installment of the Centro de Estudios Fronterizos (CEF) of Cúcuta (Colombia) and is part of BIENALSUR. The artistic project takes place in the emblematic buildings and urban space of Cúcuta and includes artists and works of reference in international contemporary art, addressing the topics of migration, restriction, citizenship and mobility, in dialogue with authors from the region.
