Adrian Paci

Adrian Paci (Shkodër, Albania, 1969) is a renowned contemporary artist whose work explores migration, identity, and memory. A graduate of the Akademia e Arteve in Tirana, he taught art history in Albania before relocating to Italy in 1997. His internationally acclaimed work spans video, performance, painting, and sculpture, often reflecting on exile and personal transformation. With exhibitions at MoMA PS1, the Venice Biennale, and Apexart, Paci has established himself in the global art scene. One of his most iconic pieces, Home to Go (2001), visually examines themes of loss and belonging. Currently, he teaches at the Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti in Bergamo and the Università IUAV in Venice. He lives and works in Milan.
