Ana Montenegro

Ana María Montenegro (Bogotá, 1986) is an artist, curator, and educator known for her conceptual and poetic approach to themes such as language, memory, and performativity. Her work, which includes video, performance, and site-specific interventions, is characterized by reinterpreting and transforming narratives and discursive structures. Montenegro has contributed to prominent curatorial projects, such as the 45th National Salon of Artists in Colombia, and her work has been exhibited both in Colombia and internationally. Her recent project "6402 Reasons Not to Forget" focuses on Colombia’s historical memory.
