Jordi Colomer
Jordi Colomer (Barcelona, 1962) is an artist working in sculpture, installations, photography, and video art, blending these fields with a strong performative component. Through his actions, he challenges traditional uses of architecture and urban space, exploring themes such as nomadism, the peripheral, utopia, and humor. He represented Spain at the 57th Venice Biennale (2017) with the project ¡Únete! Join Us!. His work has been exhibited in major museums and art centers, including Museo Reina Sofía, Matadero (Madrid), Jeu de Paume (Paris), Belvedere 21 (Vienna), Bronx Museum (New York), Manifesta (St. Petersburg, Russia), and more. Since 2017, he has co-founded "La Infinita de l'Hospitalet", a laboratory for creating links between visual arts and live arts.
