Carlos Zerpa

Carlos Zerpa, a Venezuelan mixed-media artist, has been a pivotal figure in conceptual and object-based art in Latin America. His career, which began in the 1970s, spans performance, painting, photography, and sculpture. His Grrr exhibition (1985) at the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas cemented his status in Venezuelan contemporary art.
