Matteo Guidi

Matteo Guidi (Cesena, Italy, 1978) is a contemporary artist based in Barcelona whose practice operates between art and social anthropology, focusing on material culture. Through the observation of social groups, he explores relationships with everyday objects, proposing new uses and symbolic meanings through a critical yet poetic approach. His work spans photography, drawing, video, and installation. He has participated in exhibitions and biennials such as BIENALSUR, SCAN Tarragona, and Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Condeduque. Alongside his artistic practice, he teaches at institutions including ISIA Urbino and IED Barcelona. He is a member of CoMoDo and A/A Network, and serves on the board of PAAC.
