Wilmer Useche

Wilmer Leonardo Useche (Cúcuta, Colombia, 1984) is a Fine Artist and Architect known for exploring the relationship between art and architecture. His work focuses on drawing, using conventional materials like pens and markers on paper, combining opposing elements such as abstraction and figuration, the classical and contemporary. He has exhibited in museums and galleries in Colombia and abroad, including the Museo de Inmigrantes in Buenos Aires (MUNTREF) and the Museo Nacional de Colombia. He has been nominated for the Eeckman Prize 2020 and the Sara Modiano Prize for the Arts VII, among other awards. His work has been recognized in international salons and fairs such as the Feria del Millón 2020.
