BIENALSUR 2019 presents a cycle of activities open to the general public within the framework of the exhibition "This time may be different" by the American artist and activist Martha Rosler, which will take place during September, October and November, at KM 0 of BIENALSUR, located at the MUNTREF Immigrant Hotel Venue. Organized by the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF), the biennial deploys across the globe, simultaneously, until November, with exhibitions of more than 600 artists in more than one hundred venues - with which it works jointly and collaboratively, in 47 cities in 21 countries.
Classes, workshops, conferences and screenings are part of the cycle of the open activities. "May this time be different" is the creation of a library on art and feminism in spanish, with the collaboration of the Interdisciplinary Network of Gender Studies and the Interdisciplinary Center on Gender Studies and Policies of UNTREF. It brings together around a thousand titles that account for, accompany and intervene in the intense feminist and feminist discussion that has been taking place in recent years in Buenos Aires.
