The attractive province of Cordoba, scenery of mountain landscapes and cradle of exceptional artists, will be the next destination of BIENALSUR 2019, the largest cultural event in Argentina for the world, which will be held until November, simultaneously, with exhibitions of 400 artists distributed in more than 100 venues, in 43 cities of a score of countries from the five continents.
Starting June 12 and 13, the province of Cordoba will be the next stage where BIENALSUR 2019 will unfold all its magic, with numerous exhibitions in different venues such as the Emilio Caraffa Museum or the National University of Cordoba, among others, and with individual and collective exhibitions, as interesting as diverse, some especially linked to the gender theme and others to Art and Nature.
At the National University of Cordoba, from June 12 to 15, the workshop "Escuela de maestras" will be held, a project by Kekena Corvalan conceived as a space for exchange among artists, managers, curators and art activists with Belkys Scolamieri, Claudia Casarino and Claudia Coca as coordinators. With this idea, as simple as it is powerful, the idea is to promote generous and horizontal encounters to interweave experience and share artistic knowledge among women artists.
In the multiple artistic offer that BIENALSUR will deploy in the province, the public will find outstanding names of the local and international scene such as the Argentines Diego Bianchi, Liliana Porter, Gabriel Valansi, Chiachio & Giannone, Marcos López, Juan Carlos Romero, Alejandro Chaskielberg, Mercedes Azpilicueta, Claudia Coca (PER), Claudia Casarino (PRY), Soraya Abu Nabaa (DOM), among many others.
With its unprecedented cartography, BIENALSUR erases borders, thinks with artists between the local and the global, works in collaboration and in permanent dialogue with the demands and interests of each venue where the most diverse contemporary artistic proposals unfold.
The exhibition "+Mundos -Imposibles", which opens on June 13 at 7 p.m. at the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Emilio Caraffa in the city of Cordoba, brings together works by artists such as Chiachio & Giannone, Luis Pazos, Juan Carlos Romero, León Ferrari, Liliana Maresca, Marcos López, Romero, Juan Carlos Romero, León Ferrari, Liliana Maresca, Marcos López, Juan Carlos Romero and Liliana Maresca.
