Using symbolic references and documentary material, the installation denounces European migration policy, making visible the initiatives that operate within this framework as forms of explicit or implicit resistance. The artists collect the documentary material that integrates the installation at the borders, studying the situation of refugee camps in Europe and visiting spontaneous settlements in towns and cities, until generating a multi-faceted approach to the problem from different perspectives.

The site-specific installation is composed of refugee blankets discarded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, under reference code 05786, whose function is both to protect bodies from the cold and to hide them from the gaze of others, hiding them from view. The blankets, resting on the beds that welcomed those who arrived at the former Hotel de los Inmigrantes in Buenos Aires at the beginning of the twentieth century, establish a silent parallel between distant migratory policies in terms of time and space, opposed both in their procedures and in their results.
