International Art Residency Program in collaboration: Buenos Aires - Corsica - Riyadh

March - May 2023 BIENALSUR carries out projects that bring together institutions - artists and audiences. The idea is to promote a global network of museums, cultural centres and universities from all over the world, in order to create more collaborative relationships between these institutions. We work in defence to highlight singularity within diversity and the local within the global. With these objectives in mind, and towards the fourth edition of BIENALSUR, which will take place between July and December this year, an International Art Residency Program is currently being developed as a result of collaborations with FRAC Corsica and the Ministry of Culture of Saudi Arabia. Two artists from each country: Laetizia Debain and Sébastien Arrighi for France, Laura Glusman and Nicolás Janowski for Argentina, Tasneem Alsultan and Moath Alofi for Saudi Arabia participate in a two-week residency in one of the host cities - different from their home city - where they work on the production of photographic works to investigate the urban experience. A selection of the works produced in the residencies will be presented simultaneously in three exhibitions in the participating cities between August and October.
