Opening: Thursday September, 18th , 5 p.m Genetic RITUAL is an exhibition associated with BIENALSUR curated by Roberto López (MEX), offering a multidisciplinary artistic experience that intertwines muralism, installation, graphic work, mapping, documentary video, and community participation. Inspired by Mesoamerican cosmogony and cycles of transformation, the exhibition unfolds as a collective and sensory ritual that engages with themes such as human origins, migration, and the bond between our species and its spiritual and natural environment. Carrasco blurs the boundaries between the ancestral and the speculative. His drawings and murals animate a symbolic pantheon of animals, shamanic figures, and obsolete technologies, envisioning a future that still evokes the earth. With exceptional graphic precision, Carrasco crafts scenes where the intimate becomes mythical, and where the body, the mask, and the machine converse within an emotional, ecological, and political landscape. His work proposes not only an aesthetic but also a visual language that conveys the tension and the possible reconciliation between the human spirit and the natural world.
