TURN chakai, the Tea Ceremony of the TURN project, is an international meeting platform where the Tokyo University of the Arts meets with representatives of partner institutions around the world with the aim of "questioning the Earth and Humanity with Art". However, at the "chakai" (tea ceremony), tea will not be served, but a space will be offered where both parties can exchange their own feelings, just like in an old tea ceremony room, spending a moment together to create something by hand or to share their thoughts, on this occasion about art in times of pandemic. Participants:  Katsuhiko Hibino - Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Diana Wechsler - Director of the Department of Art and Culture of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero, Artistic Director of BIENALSUR Organized by: Tokyo University of the Arts / The National Art Center, Tokyo / Tokyo Metropolitan Government / Arts Council Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture) / Art's Embrace ( the nonprofit organization) With the cooperation of: International exchange partners of the Tokyo University of the Arts
