BIENALSUR Open Call Instructions 


Before you start your application, you are invited to read the Open Call presentation text and the FAQs.


Technical recommendations


  • We recommend registering from a computer or tablet.

  • It is necessary to have an updated version of the browser you are using, preferably Chrome, Firefox or Safari.


Application process


  1. Log in to the Call platform from this link. Click on "Register", fill in your details and choose a password. With this information you will be able to log in to the platform at any time.

  1. Choose the category you wish to apply for and click on "Start".

  1. Complete the required information in the three sections: Personal Information, Project Information, and Attachments. You can log in and log out as many times as you wish to upload the information. You can also work simultaneously in all sections until you have completed 100% of the upload. Remember to click on "Save" before changing sections or exiting the platform.

  1. Once you have filled in 100% of the required information in all three sections, a "Submit" button will appear to finalise the registration. If the button does not appear, check that you have completed all required fields in all three sections.

  2. Once the form has been successfully submitted, you will see a confirmation text on the screen and you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your Spam/Unwanted Mail folder.

Content of the forms


  • Description/summary of the project:

Conceptual description of the project and, with regard to the formal characteristics, a detailed account of the type of work (photography, video, painting, etc.) with as much information as possible (materiality, measurements, support, mounting details, etc.).


  • Attachments:

Reference files must be attached. You can upload up to 10 images, audio and/or videos. If the project has not yet been developed or is in progress, please attach sketches or storyboards. You can upload the attached files on the form or include a link to access the material. Please do not send the material in links with expiration date, and if it is a private link do not forget to include the password. Please consider uploading enough files to make your project easily understandable.
