Laura Huertas Millán

Laura Huertas Millán (French-Colombian, 1983) is a filmmaker and visual artist known for her work exploring the intersection between cinema, contemporary art, and critical anthropology. Her films have won awards at festivals like Locarno, FIDMarseille, and Videobrasil. She has exhibited her work at prominent institutions such as MASP São Paulo and the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Her work is also part of collections like Kadist and CNAP. Huertas Millán holds a PhD in “Ethnographic Fictions” and is a member of the Counter-Encounters collective.
