Dialogue and performance with French artist Arnaud Cohen

Through different resources and materials, installations or performative actions, Arnaud Cohen makes a series of signals addressed to society with a very clear aim: to activate memory by denouncing those individuals who remained in the shadows of the most perfidious events in the history of humanity.

Dancing on a tomb to the rhythm of strobe lights? The irreverence of the gesture proposed by the artist in Dansez sur moi, the performance he made together with Wim Wenders, invites a particular way of reflection and a singular way of remembering that gives name and surname to the banality of evil.

In dialogue with Daniel Feierstein, Director of UNTREF's Center for Genocide Studies and BIENALSUR's curatorial team, Cohen will elaborate on the elements he selects to construct his bold proposals.

His performance "Roll Over Maurice Rocher (My second tribute to Michael Cimino's Heaven's Gate)" will be streamed simultaneously with Le Confort Moderne (Poitiers, France).
