In the words of its creator, POURQUOI MOI is a winding and progressive road among st pieces of rocks and bodies that came to life during a lengthy stay in Beirut, where she had access to the archives of the Lebanese Civil War compiled by the UMAM NGO. It is a set of performances on and off stage, a group of works created for three live formats that make up a simultaneous spectral mosaic and combine the bodies of eight women between 16 and 80 years old with a variety of audio visual works mixing the arts of time and space. The archive is reprocessed, trespassed and incorporated into life. Human violence is conceived as a red line signalling here and now a path towards memory and commemoration. Fragmentation and dismemberment are the principles of this phase: a choir for the bodies.
