Frances Munar

Frances Munar (Lima, 1990) is a Peruvian visual artist investigating the body as a mediating vessel and studying pre-Columbian cultures as spaces for healing. She work was featured in the artist residency program by Proyecto AMIL, AECID, and Matadero Madrid during ARCO 2019, where Peru was the guest country. Since 2017, she has led projects at Polen Ceramic Studio, hosting workshops on sound ceramics and ancestral techniques. Her solo debut at Art Lima 2018 earned her the prestigious Ca.Sa Award.
