Nora Carrasco

Nora Carrasco (Lima, 1975) is a sculptor, interior designer, and graphic advertising designer. She studied at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú (1998–2004), the Instituto Superior de Comunicación y Diseño Toulouse Lautrec (2009–2010), and the Instituto Nacional Superior Tecnológico de Diseño (1993–1995). She creates collections with Amazonian communities in Peru and promotes ancestral techniques and the responsible use of natural resources through co-design. She leads the AMAZÓNIKAS initiative, which focuses on sustainable art and design, offering products made by Amazonian women for contemporary women worldwide.
