Clemente Juliuz

Clemente Juliuz, an Indigenous artist from the Paraguayan Chaco, is renowned for his realistic drawings of the region’s flora and fauna. Since childhood, he has meticulously illustrated species like the giant armadillo (tatú carreta) and taguá, along with the unique Chaco vegetation. In 2019, he represented Paraguay at an exhibition in Paris, establishing his international artistic presence. Raised in the Nivaclé community of Campo Alegre, his work highlights both cultural identity and biodiversity. As a self-taught artist, he has exhibited in Argentina and France, bringing Paraguay’s natural beauty to a global audience.
