Emilia Bertolé
Emilia Bertolé (1896-1949) was an Argentine painter, portraitist, and poet. Her work merged Symbolism and Romanticism, earning her recognition at the National Salon of Fine Arts and Salón de Mayo. She painted portraits of figures like Hipólito Yrigoyen and published the poetry book Espejo en sombras (1927). Her artistic legacy remains influential in Argentina’s cultural history.
