Ailín Fernández

Ailin Fernández is a visual artist and cultural manager with a strong background in expanded graphics, art and technology, and audiovisual production. She studied at the National Higher Institute of Arts (INSA) in Río Negro, specializing in Printmaking and Painting, and is currently a researcher at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Neuquén. Her work spans sound art, scenography, and music video production, maintaining a strong presence in the contemporary art scene. She has exhibited in events such as BIENAL Sur (MNBA, Neuquén), NQN Contemporáneo 4, and "Bajo la Luz de Alerta II", and has collaborated on public art and site-specific projects like "Erosión" at Saulo, Cipolletti. In 2018, her music video Ombligo was selected for the Bariloche Audiovisual Festival (FAB 6). She has also received training grants at Espacio NIXSO, participating in artistic production and digital art workshops. Her interdisciplinary approach blends visual arts, new technologies, and sound experimentation, establishing her as a key figure in the contemporary art scene in Patagonia and Argentina.
