Claude Caillol, an artist born in 1955 in Aubagne, France, transforms the ordinary into a surprising visual experience. Trained in Fine Arts in Marseille and Nîmes, he currently resides on Réunion Island.
Through installations and films, he explored the impact of plastic objects in daily life. Since 2004, his drawings on plastic bags reinterpret the energy of industrial society, revealing the hidden poetry in the mundane. His work has been showcased in exhibitions, films, and performances.
