Jon Cazenave
Jon Cazenave (b. 1978, Spain) is a visual artist working across expanded photography, landscape, and material intervention. His practice investigates the conflict between nature and culture using techniques like cyanotype, risograph, and transported charcoal. Cazenave’s work has been exhibited at institutions such as Sala Canal de Isabel II, CaixaForum, CCCB, Guangdong Museum of Art, and Fotomuseum Antwerp. He has participated in international festivals including Les Rencontres d’Arles, PhotoEspaña, FotoMéxico, BIENALSUR, and Noorderlicht. He has received awards like the FOAM Paul Huf Award, PhotoEspaña Discoveries, and grants from FotoPres La Caixa and the Basque Government.
