Dora Longo Bahia (São Paulo, 1961) is a visual artist with a Ph.D. in Visual Poetics from the University of São Paulo (USP). Her work spans painting, photography, video, sound installations, film, and books, pushing the boundaries of contemporary art.
Influenced by 1980s punk rock, she was part of bands like Disk-Putas and Blah Blah Blah. She has exhibited at the São Paulo Biennial, Centre Pompidou, and Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, establishing herself as a key figure in Brazil’s experimental art scene.
With solo shows at Galeria Vermelho and Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, her work is recognized for its innovative approach and continuous exploration of new visual languages. She currently lives and works in São Paulo.
