Carolina Simón
Carolina Simón is an Argentine visual artist born in 1979 in Patagonia, Río Negro, and currently based in Buenos Aires. She trained in drawing, color, and painting with notable artists such as Daniel Fidanza and Karina Peisajovich, developing a body of work that explores space intervention and contemporary art practices.
She has participated in artistic residencies such as Manta Residencia Artística in Neuquén (2019), where she installed a large-scale artwork in the forest, and Pandemic Clinic by Ernesto Ballesteros (2020). Her work has been exhibited in Buenos Aires and Berlin, and she has collaborated with the fashion industry, notably creating designs for Martín Churba’s Tramando brand.
Currently, she is part of MACVILO (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Vicente López), an artist-run initiative in Greater Buenos Aires.
