Alice Miceli

Alice Miceli is a Brazilian artist whose practice focuses on exploring landscapes marked by historical violence and environmental disasters. Her work investigates the representation of landscapes in conflict zones, challenging the limitations of the camera in these settings. Her Chernobyl project was presented at the São Paulo Biennial (2010) and featured in outlets such as O Globo. In 2019, In Depth (minefields) was a solo exhibition at the PIPA Institute in Rio de Janeiro, while Chernobyl Project was shown in New York. Alice received the PIPA Prize (2014) and has participated in prominent biennials and international exhibitions.
