Christian Boltanski
Christian Boltanski (Paris, 1944) was a French artist who explored themes of memory, the Holocaust, and human fragility. Using materials like old photographs and used clothing, he addressed universal concepts such as death and identity. Notable works include his installations at Es Baluard Museum and the Museo Hotel de los Inmigrantes in Buenos Aires, where he evoked the traces of forgotten immigrants.
