Anna Costa e Silva (1988, Rio de Janeiro) is a multidisciplinary artist exploring encounter and listening situations, creating immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between reality and fiction. Her work manifests in installations, films, and performances, addressing collective trauma, identity, and power dynamics in contemporary art. Holding an MFA in Visual Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York, Costa e Silva has received prestigious awards such as the Franklin Furnace Performance Grant and FOCO Bradesco ArtRio.
She has exhibited at international events like the 13th Mercosul Biennial, BienalSur, and venues like the Centro Cultural Hélio Oiticica in Rio de Janeiro. Her work has been showcased in various platforms, including the Rio International Film Festival and Art In Odd Places Festival. Anna is an artist-in-residence at Delfina Foundation in London (2025). Additionally, her short films and series have been featured on Arte1 and Curta! channels.
