Guadalupe Miles
Guadalupe Miles is an interdisciplinary Argentine artist, whose practice spans photography, visual arts, and cultural action. Her work is deeply rooted in the indigenous communities of the Chaco, focusing on creating spaces for intercultural communication and collaboration. Throughout her career, she has been recognized with significant awards, such as the Federico Klemm Award for Visual Arts (2001) and the Orígenes Award for Young Art at ArteBA. Her work has been exhibited and is part of public and private collections in Argentina, as well as internationally in countries such as Peru, Italy, the United States, the U.K., and France. In addition, Guadalupe Miles is involved in educational and cultural projects, promoting the development of visual arts and photography in northwest Argentina and strengthening the Iowaja and Wichí communities in the Salta Chaco region.
