Stéphanie Pommeret
Stéphanie Pommeret (born in Rennes, France, 1976) is an interdisciplinary artist who has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions. She has been recognized with important awards, such as "El Ojo Crítico 2015 for Plastic Arts" and "VIII ARCO Comunidad de Madrid Award for Young Artists 2011". Her work has been showcased in major venues such as the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, Fundación PROA, and the Musée des Beaux Arts in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. In 2022, she was selected for the Bienalsur, the International Contemporary Art Biennial of South America. Her work, exploring ecopoetics and the generic world, was part of the Ecopoetic of Generic World exhibition in Los Angeles, USA. Pommeret has participated in artist residencies in locations such as the French Institute of Sao Tomé and the Bon Sauveur Foundation. She is also known for creating narrative and poetic texts, publishing her work Huis Clos in 2023.
