Edward Shaw was an American art critic, collector, and curator who lived in Argentina and Chile. A co-founder of the Centro Cultural Borges and curator at the São Paulo Biennial, he authored over 200 museum and gallery catalogs. In 2005, he brought Frank Stella and Andy Warhol's works to Chile. In 2023, he exhibited part of his collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, featuring works by Antonio Berni and Rufino Tamayo.
