Born in Tucumán in 1981, Alejandra Mizrahi is a renowned artist, educator, and researcher specializing in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art. Holding a PhD in Philosophy and dual Master’s degrees in Contemporary Philosophy and Art Theory from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, her academic and artistic work bridges the fields of textile experimentation, curatorial practices, and philosophical inquiry.
Currently a professor at the National University of Tucumán, she also has extensive teaching experience at USPT and UMSA. She co-authored the acclaimed book “Randa: tradición y diseño tucumanos en diálogo” and has contributed to significant publications on fashion and textile design.
Her work has received prestigious recognitions, including a fellowship from the Ministry of Culture and residencies at Savvy Contemporary in Berlin and Curadora in Santa Fe. Solo exhibitions like “Supernova” and group shows such as “El ardid del tiempo” have established her as a leading voice in contemporary textile art.
