Ananké Asseff

Ananké Asseff (Buenos Aires, 1979) is a distinguished Argentine visual artist specializing in photography, installation, video, and performance. Her works are part of prestigious collections, including the Tate Modern (UK), J. Paul Getty Museum (USA), and the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires (MAMBA). She has exhibited at major biennials such as BIENALSUR 2023, the Curitiba Biennial, and the 10th Havana Biennial. In 2017, she showcased LATIR, her anthological exhibition, in Montevideo. Her work has been featured in publications like TIME Magazine and EXIT Spain, and she has received accolades including the Konex Prize for Photography and international residencies in Germany, Canada, and the USA. Currently, she directs the Arte+Naturaleza Residency and Creative Process Lab in Buenos Aires.
