Alan Pauls

Alan Pauls is an Argentine writer and literary critic known for his introspective and experimental style, featuring fluid prose and dark humor. He holds a degree in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and has worked as a journalist for Página/12, where he was editor of Radar and chief editor of Página/30. Winner of the Premio Herralde de Novela (2003) for El pasado, his work has been adapted into film and translated into multiple languages. He has also written screenplays for films directed by Cristian Pauls, Fito Páez, and Eduardo Calcagno. His trilogy, Historia del llanto, Historia del pelo, and Historia del dinero, solidifies his position as a leading voice in contemporary Argentine literature.
