Raúl D’Amelio
Raúl D’Amelio, born in Rosario in 1957, is an Argentine architect and visual artist specializing in museum architecture and exhibition design. He studied at the National University of Rosario, where he also trained in Fine Arts and photography. His work, which began in 1985, includes abstractions, landscapes, and three-dimensional objects. D’Amelio has worked on collection conservation and exhibition design projects in institutions like the Castagnino Museum, MACRO, and the Museum of Memory.
He was a founding member of the groups La Vaca, RoZarte, and Patrimonio, which aimed to renew local art in the post-dictatorship era. D’Amelio has also served as a Full Professor at the School of Museology in Rosario. His works are part of public and private collections both in Argentina and internationally, and he has been recognized in official exhibitions and awarded cultural grants.
