Paloma Marquez

Paloma Márquez is a visual, sound, and new media artist born in Chilecito, La Rioja, Argentina. She studied Audiovisual Arts at the National University of Lanús and is pursuing a Master’s in Electronic Arts at UNTREF, focusing on the use of minerals in electronic art. She is part of the Geopoéticas Subalternas Lab and the research group “BioJuego: Anthropocene here and now.” She received the ProyectArte scholarship and trained with artists such as Ernesto Pesce and Leonel Luna. Márquez worked as an assistant to Jorge Roiger, Daniel Corvino, and Eugenio Cuttica. Her work has been exhibited at MUNTREF, Centro Cultural Borges, Centro Cultural Recoleta, Universidad Nacional de La Rioja, Zero1 Festival (France), David Rockefeller Center (Boston), and Freeport Art Museum (USA).
