Claudia Aravena Abughosh, a Chilean visual artist, has built a remarkable career in contemporary art through installations, photography, and audiovisual works exploring identity and urban space. With a background in Graphic Design, Audiovisual Communication, and a Master’s in Cultural Studies, her work has been exhibited at biennials and museums across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
She has participated in film festivals in Paris, Leipzig, and Lisbon, and in 2002 was nominated for the Altazor Prize in installation and video art. Her work delves into memory, the city, and cultural fusion, establishing her as a key figure in media art and audiovisual experimentation.
