Adrian Geller
Adrian Geller (b. 1997, Switzerland) is a Swiss contemporary artist based in Paris. His painting practice explores the intersections of social behavior, craftsmanship, mythology, and memory, constructing narratives that challenge normative ideas of progress. Drawing from art history and personal experience, he creates a symbolic universe where intimacy and archetype coexist.
Geller’s paintings are populated by recurring male figures navigating dramatic and untamed landscapes, confronting their most primal instincts. Naked bodies oscillate between vulnerability and intimacy, offering a critical re-examination of the male archetype and reflecting on the human condition. Nature and humanity form a symbiotic bond within his work, questioning contemporary tensions between society and the environment.
In a time shaped by environmental and social crises, Geller reimagines new relationships between humans and nature. He studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Recent exhibitions include Capsule Venice, Perrotin (Paris), Villa Noailles (Hyères), François Ghebaly (Los Angeles), and Stone Oven House (Turin).
