Alan Courtis

Alan Courtis is an Argentine experimental musician, composer, and sound artist, renowned for his work in sonic exploration and avant-garde music. As a co-founder of Grupo Reynols, he has contributed to over 500 albums released worldwide and has toured extensively across Japan, China, Europe, the United States, Oceania, and Latin America. His music has been featured on BBC, WFMU, and RTVE. Holding a degree in Communication Sciences from UBA, he is currently a professor at UNTREF, specializing in aesthetics and sonic experimentation. He has collaborated with Pauline Oliveros, Lee Ranaldo, and Merzbow, among others, solidifying his role as a key figure in the global experimental music scene.
