Giorgia Errera
Giorgia Errera (Anzio, 1997) is an Italian contemporary artist specializing in environmental art and experimental languages. She graduated in 2024 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Her artistic practice explores the relationship between space, materiality, and perception, developing site-specific installations that engage with architectural and urban contexts.
Her work has been featured in several collective exhibitions across Italy, including EXPRIMO at Mattatoio – La Pelanda (Rome, 2025), Roommates | Atto II at Spazio Studi Arte (Rome, 2024), EMÈRGERE at Adiacenze (Bologna, 2023), and Nel segno della libertà at Murate Art District (Florence, 2023). She has also exhibited in historical and unconventional venues such as the Complesso Monumentale di San Michele a Ripa (Rome), Forte Antenne (Rome), and Bunker Soratte (Sant’Oreste).
In 2022 she won the Premio Fregellae, received a Special Mention at the Battista Calapai and Theodora Van Mierlo Benedetti International Prize, and was selected for the first issue of A Priori Magazine (2021).
Her research focuses on landscape transformation, spatial memory, and the dialogue between nature and architecture, positioning her within the emerging generation of Italian contemporary artists.
