Eliana Rosales

Eliana Rosales is an Argentine cellist and audiovisual producer specializing in electroacoustic music and contemporary sound art. She presented her work Memoria de un espacio (Memory of a Space) in the Conciertos Imaginarios series at the Centro Cultural Recoleta. She formed an electroacoustic duo with Ernesto Romeo, performing at Festival Búsquedas Sonoras and Esculturas Sonoras by León Ferrari at Tecnópolis. She was a member of the Rosales-Lennie-Romeo Electroacoustic Trio, performing at Medialab Prado (Madrid), CMMR Festival at Wilton’s Music Hall (London), Cycle Escuchar at Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires – Alianza Francesa, and Festival Enlaces (UNTREF). She directed the music videos for Tecnópolis Sonora / Casa de Sonidos and composed the soundtrack for the TV biography series Microbio (Canal Encuentro). Rosales was a researcher at MUNTREF in the project Aromatorio, presented Biotis at PHASE 9 (Art, Science and Technology), and works in production for the Biennial of Moving Image (Continente). She studies Electronic Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero.
