Jessica Ostrowicz

Jessica Ostrowicz is a multidisciplinary visual artist, sculptor, installation maker, experimental filmmaker, and educator. Her practice explores the concept of home as an ever-shifting and layered condition shaped by displacement, memory, belonging, and absence. Working across sculpture, installation, film, drawing, and sound, Ostrowicz gathers ephemeral fragments — objects, stories, architectural traces, and material residues — to construct immersive environments that examine how spaces hold emotional and political histories. Her work reflects on domesticity, rupture, longing, and transition, considering how bodies and places are shaped by both personal experience and collective narratives. Through poetic yet research-driven processes, she investigates how architecture and everyday materials become repositories of memory. The tension between belonging and loss, presence and disappearance, runs throughout her installations, which often unfold as spatial narratives inviting reflection on intimacy, vulnerability, and shared human experience.
