Marcelo F. Martínez
Marcelo Fabián Martínez (Buenos Aires, 1977) is a musician, composer, and sound artist. He holds a degree in Electroacoustic Composition (UNQ), trained as a clarinetist and electronics technician, merging art and technology in original sound works for theater, dance, performance and film since 2001. He has participated in festivals across the Americas and Europe. He is currently a research professor at UNQ and UNA, and directs the “Music Production and New Technologies” program at UNQ. He has been part of ensembles such as Buenos Aires Sonora, Factor Burzaco, and ENS, and collaborates with Columna Durruti and Electropunk. His work is marked by an interdisciplinary practice connecting sound, performance and critical thought.
