Santiago Rueda Fajardo

Santiago Rueda Fajardo (b. Bogotá, 1972) is an artist, critic, and independent curator renowned for his research on contemporary Colombian art. He curated Arte Cámara at ArtBo (2011) and co-curated programs like Jóvenes Talentos (Alianza Francesa, Bogotá) and Allí, allá. Desde Argentina (Plataforma Bogotá, 2011). He hosted the online TV program Óptica Arte Actual (2009–2011). Rueda has received the Colombian Art Essay Prize (2004, 2008) and the National Criticism Award (2006). Author of key publications such as Híper/ultra/neo/post: Miguel Ángel Rojas 30 años de arte en Colombia, A Line of Dust: Art and Drugs in Colombia, and Furor Mineral, his work is vital to Latin American art criticism.
