Ana María Millán

Ana María Millán (Colombia, 1975) is an artist, researcher, and cultural organizer. She is a founding member of the Helena Producciones collective, with whom she has co-organized the Cali Performance Festival since 1998, supported twice by the Prince Claus Fund. Her work examines cultural, social, and historical phenomena through emotionally charged narratives from popular culture. She has exhibited internationally in Tierra de Nadie (Spain), AUTO-KINO! (Berlin), Side Stories (Guatemala), the 41st National Artists Salon (Colombia), Intricate Journey (Berlin), Cali en el Espejo (Vancouver), and I still believe in miracles (Paris). She lives and works in Berlin.
