Nayadet Núñez
Nayadet Núñez Rodríguez (b. 1991) is a Chilean artisan and visual artist, heir to the traditional pottery of Quinchamalí and Santa Cruz de Cuca, in the rural Ñuble region. This craft, declared a Living Human Treasure and listed in Chile’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory, is under a safeguarding plan for UNESCO World Heritage nomination and holds the INAPI Seal of Origin. Nayadet is included in Chile’s National Registry of Craftspersons, recognized by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage for her work preserving and reimagining ancestral pottery techniques. Her practice bridges rural memory and contemporary aesthetics, forging a unique language rooted in tradition and innovation.
