Andrea Moreira

Andrea Moreira (Guayaquil, Ecuador, 1989) is a visual artist working primarily in painting and installation. Her work explores space, bodily relations, and the phenomena that traverse them. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the University of the Arts. Moreira has exhibited both solo and in group shows at venues such as the Museum of Anthropology and Contemporary Art (MAAC), the Cocoa Museum, Casa del Barrio, and ProArte Gallery in Guayaquil. Internationally, she has shown at Trapo Gallery (Mexico) and at Pinta Miami (USA). Her work has earned her honorable mentions at the Women’s Salon and second place at the FAAL Outdoor Arts Fair.
