Cheril Linett

Cheril Linett (Santiago de Chile, 1988) is a performance artist and stage researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre (Acting) from Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano and is the creator of the performance project Yeguada Latinoamericana, a key reference in the intersection of art, feminism, and body-based activism. Since 2015, Linett has actively participated in festivals and public art interventions, developing a powerful body of independent work. Her creations are grouped in series such as Suction Choreography, Poetics of Water, Funeral Spring and Home, which explore the body as a political, poetic, and ritual space. She is a fellow of the Stage Direction Program FITAM – Goethe-Institut Chile in Santiago.
