Lorena Noblecilla Fuller

Lorena Noblecilla Fuller is a Peruvian visual artist and photographer whose work explores the human relationship with nature, power over territories, and methods of scientific and para-scientific data visualization. Through photography, cartography, and landscape analysis, she reflects on what it means to live in the world today. Her projects span various media and aim to provoke critical thinking through poetic and research-based visuals. She has presented her work in major group and solo exhibitions in Latin America and Europe, including the Metropolitan Museum of Lima, Amano Museum, National Library of Peru, Inca Garcilaso Cultural Center, and PhotoEspaña in Madrid and São Paulo. Her solo shows include Compass, Of the Ambiguous, Colonization of the Space, and Geography of Time. Her work is held in public and private collections such as FOLA (Buenos Aires), the Jan Mulder Collection, and the San Marcos Art Museum (Lima). A finalist of Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña 2017 and 2021, and the Master PHotoEspaña in Madrid, she studied Plastic Arts at Corriente Alterna and photography at Centro de la Imagen. She currently lives and works in Lima, Peru.
